The nixtamalization process that tortillas go through significantly enriches the nutritional value of maize as a source of vitamins, minerals (calcium) and protein.
How to use them:
Open the package, let it breathe for a few minutes, carefully separate the tortillas, heat on a griddle 15 seconds per side and serve.
Tortillas can be used to prepare assorted types of street tacos, like pastor, bistec, campechanos, gringas, alambres, rajas, flautas, tostadas and many more.
How to warm them:
Open the package, warm them on a pan and put them in a tortillero. When warmed in microwave, put some in a lightly damp clean cloth, put inside a plastic bag and warm for approx. 30 seconds.
Before open the package can keep 4 weeks in the fridge or freeze them up to 12 months.
